What do you want to be? To remain an employee in a small business, to invest in your career and to focus on your achievements, to take a new step in the hierarchic chain and to taste the success…or not. OR to become an entrepreneur and to have your own business, the business you dreamed so much, the one that you invented and grew in a manner that suits you… or not because you were wrong.
No matter the road you are waking, it suits you at that moment. You can gamble, and you can win, or you can lose. I know people that succeeded in becoming entrepreneurs. Also, I know people that didn’t succeed and returned to the state of the employees.
It’s not easy to be “just” an entrepreneur and it’s not easy to be “just” an employee. Although, one can debate what “just an employee” means. Maybe it’s easier to be a simple employee and never want more than you already have.
The thing with the entrepreneurship is that you need to fight if you want to grow, to evolve and to reach your limit. The sky is the limit, they say, but….
When it comes to entrepreneurship one can talk hours and hours about theoretical aspects opposite to what happens in the real life. They say that you won’t have enough free time but when you are working with pleasure in a manner which you cannot call what you do WORK then you will have enough free time.
Maybe Sunday won’t be a rest day, or maybe you won’t get much sleep in some of the nights. You will always find solutions, your brain will be busy with all kinds of problems, you will have daily tasks. It’s possible that each day will be unique 24 hours after 24 hours in which you will experience new things.
Because we are living in the communication era, it’s possible that you will succeed. People will talk about you, about how you inspire other people. You will be invited to talk about what you do, about ups and downs of your career. That doesn’t sound bad at all, huh?
Nowadays you can easily be a successful businessman or just successful no matter the domain. This can lead to partnerships that can be fruitful if you choose carefully the people that will be your partners.
If you are opting for a career, then you aim for a salary and bonuses based on your performances. You will be appreciated, you will gather around you a loyal team, you will be promoted, and you will inspire others by speaking how you managed to reach the current position.
Entrepreneur or Employee. There is no good or bad. Opinions can be different because everyone is looking through its one perspective.
No matter the path you are choosing, you need to know that we, the MindCode team, created special programs for both entrepreneurs and employees.
